A bit about me I’m Crystal Thomas, I was born and raised in California before making the Washington, D.C. area home over a decade ago. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me by the water (the Chesapeake Bay counts), painting, spending time with my family or at a baseball game with my husband—a retired Navy Corpsman. My greatest rolethough, is being an IVF mom, a journey that has shaped my resilience and perspective both personally and professionally.

Professionally,  I’m a creative leader with 17 years of experience leading teams, building brands and scaling creative teams. As Global Creative Director at POLITICO, I oversee a team of six designers supporting stakeholders across Live Events, Product, Marketing, Newsroom and Revenue throughout North America and Europe.
